Voiced Postalveolar Affricate (D-Yogh Ligature)

Instructions:

Articulator laminal of the tongue

Point of Articulation: post-alveolar area

Manner: It begins with a complete closure of the articulator and the point of articulation, and ends with a narrow constriction of them. So the air is blocked completely in the first part but is gradually released with audible frication noise at the latter part.

Voice: voiced – Vocal folds are close and vibrating.
